I painted this gorgeous calico cat with the sweet little polka dot nose and beautiful green eyes in watercolor as a loving memory portrait. Cali was a kitten and living under the shed in the back of my clients' home, when she adopted them. She would come up to their porch and roll around on her back to be petted. It was a cold night when the husband brought her inside and as they say, the rest is history. Cali passed away at age fourteen after living a full wonderful life with her loving owners. The hand-painted original watercolor portrait shown here was painted by using a photograph taken by her owners as reference.
