With a number of photos supplied by the grandmother of these adorable children, I was commissioned to compose a watercolor painting and a number of pencil sketches of this older brother and little sister together on one paper canvas.
My portraits are hand-painted original paintings done by looking at a photograph of the subject as if the subject were sitting in my studio. You can supply me with photos of your child or I can take them for you. Vibrant, energetic action paintings with movement and life are my specialty; however, I enjoy painting portraits, especially of children, even when there is no movement involved.
I am very comfortable working in either oil, acrylic, watercolor or pencil. Before I begin a watercolor painting, like the one shown here, I usually complete a detailed drawing on the paper canvas in order that the proportions of the subject are the same as those in the photo. This is difficult to change in watercolor so I make sure the drawing is correct before I begin the painting. In this composite image, some of the drawings have been left unpainted as requested by my client.

Oh how beautiful it is! And the promise of God "I take care of you!" When i was in College International and I was worrying how I pay my tuition, worrying about life...praying humbly as I was driving home in Ventura, the quite music went off and I heard two sentences in English.
