A simple informal portrait such as this one of two sisters enjoying ice-cream cones can invoke faded memories of carefree childhood Sundays when a special treat made it a moment to remember. This was a commissioned painting. I painted this watercolor portrait by referring to a photo taken by the girls' mom many years ago. The girls are now adults with families of their own.
