If you have a photo in which facial expression is great but you are not happy with the pose, the background, etc., I will compose the painting extracting elements from a number of different photos to your satisfaction. This female nude oil painting was painted in 1974 by my dad, Otto Werner (1923 - 1991). With utmost respect for women, he painted the nude female body with reverence and admiration. Warm light from the front (right side), cool reflecting light on her back, and deep contrasting shadows that trace the graceful shapes of her body create the drama in this captivating portrait of a woman who looks at her mirror image with a critical eye.
