FURRY FOREST FRIENDS is a fun 40 ft. high x 100 ft. long acrylic stairwell wall mural in Maple preschool daycare just north of Toronto, Ontario Canada, hand-painted by artist Hanne Lore Koehler. An old Maple tree winds throughout the stairwell with many happy forest friends on branches, among the flowers and in the pond. Unfortunately, because of the narrow stairwell space, it is not possible to photograph the entire mural in one shot. I photographed many of the highlights and uploaded them in sections as individual works of art for children.
Each section or vignette has been digitally enhanced to produce a collection of creatures with similar colorful backgrounds for a pleasing arrangement as art prints, canvas prints, acrylic prints, metal prints, posters and art cards. Perfect for your child's room decor, baby nursery, bathroom, cottages, chalet decor, pediatrician office, pediatric wing, preschool daycare and more. This section depicts a peeking bunny who has discovered a surprise from behind the tall grass and lily of the valley flowers at the base of the old Maple tree. This is part of the image shown above. When I was 5 years old, my Grandfather showed me new baby bunnies under a hedge in his yard. They inspired me to draw little tiny 4 page books about a character named "Bunny Boy".
