SPRING LOVE is a fantasy digital creation of bright cheerful spring colors of purple, turquoise, blue and green. Beginning as a digital photo, I imagined a crocus in the abstract to create this digital painting. By applying a variety of digital special effects and distinctive digital painting elements in a photo manipulation program to adjust colors, shapes, transparency and light, I created the macro crocus veins and shapes. Inspired by my vision of an abstract crucus macro, I adjusted temperature, hue, saturation, brightness and I added a teardrop shaped dew drop sliding down the pale blue petal to complete the composition and hint at the suggestion of an emotional story.
I love the soft rich hues of cool greens and blues that waft in through an open window past billowing curtains on a refreshing sea breeze. The subtle sliding teardrop adds an element of emotion and reality to this expressive composition.
