This watercolor painting is one of seven original paintings of an RV camper van commissioned by RoadTrek Inc. in Cambridge, Ontario Canada who build and custom outfit RV camper vans. This watercolor painting called FAMILY BEACH FUN VACATION will be given as a personalized award for his special California dealer client.
My assignment was to paint a family enjoying their summer vacation with the Roadtrek van in the picture. I composed this painting with the Roadtrek camper van in a California beach scene from my imagination with the personalized California license plate of the recipient of this original painting award. With palm trees in the background and reflected in the shiny vehicle, mom, dad and three children are headed for a fun day on the beach in the California sun.
Other than the reference photo for the camper van motor home, the rest of the painting stems from my imagination - inclding the reflections in the motorhome.
