This poppy impressions image is a combination of two paintings. I overlayed a 3" x 3" watercolor of poppies I painted about 30 years ago onto a recent section of an acrylic painting of ferns. Experimenting with some digital enhancements, I was pleased with this resulting abstract poppy garden impression. Hope it appeals to you too!
In Southern Ontario, poppies bloom in late spring and early summer. They are a symbol of Remembrance day in Canada.
