| This cozy reading nook at the top of the stairway is the perfect place to curl up with a favorite book. Contemporary updated graphics on the walls mimic the angle of the sun streaming in through the skylite. We chose shades of blue and green for a cool airy feeling, a reflection of sky colors. Why not yellow? To us, yellow is dingy and depressing - sunshine is white. We have all been conditioned to think of the sun as yellow from childhood when only a yellow crayon would do. Sunny yellow? Not after age ten!
